Who We Are

How PhysioHub works

PhysioHub treats musculoskeletal pain, post-operative recovery and sports injuries from a treatment room in Uckfield. You stay with the same physiotherapist from the first assessment through to the last session, so your history never has to be explained twice and progress is judged by someone who saw where you started.

That covers backs that have grumbled since a house move, runners rebuilding after a calf tear, and lifters working around a shoulder.

Who Are We?

Hi, I'm Alex, the founder of PhysioHub

I'm a HCPC-registered physiotherapist with a BSc in Physiotherapy and experience across both the NHS and private practice. I specialise in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, supporting people recovering from injuries, post-operative surgery, and managing ongoing pain. I also work with strength athletes, runners, and active individuals looking to optimise their movement and performance.

Sport has always been a big part of my life. I started as a track and field competitor at a very young age, then went on to compete in canoe sprint for the Romanian junior national team, earning national titles and competing internationally. Nowadays, I enjoy strength sports and powerlifting at an amateur level, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges athletes face.

Training and competing myself changed how I treat. I know what being told to rest with no timeline attached does to someone who cares about their sport, so I test properly, explain what I have found in plain language, and write the loading down with a rough idea of when each stage should land. If it is going to take four months, I would rather tell you that on day one.
